This hotel exceeded my expectations with its stunning Gulf of Mexico views and a balcony to enjoy them. While the rooms are somewhat compact, they offer a cozy setting. The service was exceptional, going out of their way to accommodate any request. The prime location near the beach and stores made it a stress-busting stay, even though the in-house breakfast was missed. Overall, a delightful experience that I would gladly repeat.

The hotel has a beautiful and functional room for my family, but noise from the pool area was quite bothersome. There's a private door leading to the restroom, a nice touch to avoid disturbing others during late-night trips. Service ranged from amazing to terrible, with staff allowing extended family to use the pool. The location is convenient to beaches, dining places, and stores, though a noisy street separates the hotel from the beach. Dining options are limited to in-room bread service, which is a drawback. Overall, a former gem by the sea with close proximity to Babe's Beach.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were really nice and had everything we needed, including a queen bed and two bunk beds outside the main bedroom. The service was fantastic, and I even got a suite with a balcony and an ocean view for the same price as a motel room. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to do in Galveston. The dining was good overall, though I wished there were more breakfast options.
